QL2300.sys is corrupt
hi,
i am not really into ibm machines but i was task to load an OS on x3650 ibm server hardware. unfortunately, ive been struggling in doing it. i kept on having this error upon installing "ql2300.sys is corrupt", and my only option is to reboot the server and stop.
been trying to update the firmware, used the latest version of IBM serverguide, but to no luck. previously, i was able to load the server 2008 x64 server on this machine. this time, loading server 2003 R2 standard gave me a challenge.
i hope you can help.
thanks.

I too had same problem, ql2300.sys file is corrupted, when i try to install Windows 2003 R2, using Server Guide 8.1, when i tried through CDs.
I fixed this, I tried the installation using the iso files. it went fine, without any issues. I didn;t assigned the physical CD ROM, to any blade.
Login into Remote management Interface, http://<your blade chassis management IP>
1. Go to Available Resources.
2. Click on "Select Image" and point the Server Guide 8.1 iso.
3. Power on the Blade.
4. It will boot through Server Guide, complete the steps for Windows 2003.
5. It will ask insert Windows 2003 to copy the files, Now unmount the server guide iso, and mount windows 2003 R2 iso.
6. It will copy all the files, and will do the installation.
The above steps were worked for me, I didn;t removed any HBA from the Blade..
Good Luck,
