Exact version and Build of JDK used for WAS on Solaris

Hi,
I am looking for the information about JDK being used in WebSphere versions v6.1 and 7.0 in Solaris platform.
I have visited the following blogs but didn't get proper answer and still in confusion.
http://blogs.sun.com/dkumar/entry/websphere_jvm_jdk_on_solaris
http://www.theserverside.com/discussions/thread.tss?thread_id=25883
One of the above refers to WAS 5.1 version on Solaris but the other one doesn't mention any WAS version at all.
I want to know who is the Vendor of the JDK (IBM or Sun) in WebSphere v6.1 and V7.0 for Solaris
And links to any authorised information are requested.
I request anyone form EE provide the information ASAP

Thanks in advance
Regards
Rishi

to determine the exact version of WebSphere, execute the versionInfo command script:

find /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer -name versionInfo.sh -type f -print -exec {} \;

and look for the section labelled "Installed Product", and the line just after it that has "Version" at the left margin.

Hi All,

Thanks for the information provided.

Looks like I have not put my question properly to convey exactly what i am asking for.

I heard from few blogs that the Websphere product for Solaris platform by default comes(uses) with Sun's JDK unlike Websphere on Windows (which comes with IBM JDK)

My question is to know whether the above statement is true till today (with v6.1 and V7.0)
if not true,  Which vendor JDK the IBM WebSphere V6.1  bundled for Solaris uses Sun JDK or IBM JDK??
I am requesting experts to provide the resources/information that can prove the statement.
I dont have the WAS for Solaris yet with me  to paly with
We are not going to use WAS on Solaris if its bundled with Sun JDK on Solaris 10
Any how I can utilize the information provided above to confirm once I install and see.

Thanks,
Rishi
