How are you building your GPO for the Acrobat push?
ASKER
what do you mean ?
Could you dump your GPO here (screen shot with settings, for example), so we can look at how it is set up?
ASKER
yes i will
ASKER
That looks to have been done correctly. Have you ensured that the installation files and GPOs have been replicated correctly?
ASKER
yes it as been replicate but how to make sure they really are ?
Thanks
Thanks
REPADMIN is a good tool to make sure that replication is working correctly in your AD. Overview with links for directions and exampels can be found here:

From a command prompt on a computer that is not working, type SET LOGONSERVER This will give you the name of the DC against which you are authenticating. Once you have that, log into that server and make sure it looks the same as your primary DC from which you are affecting the changes to GPO.

the thing is weird i do the test with file zilla and it's working but when i do the same with adobe acrobat reader i can't see the software in the list
Can you delete the GPO you created for installation, let that replicate and then create a new one? Try renaming the .MSI as well...
ASKER
yes since im doing the test in a close environement yes but i can telle you taht i already done that couple times same issue is it possible that there something on the msi that block the listing ?
Thanks
Thanks
It shouldn't, because GPO doesn't read the MSI.
ASKER
ok
it's funny cause i try also deploying the msi per computer and by activating certain extension and on the list of extension i got nothing in the drop down menu
so i can't chose a pdf

I am unable to help you further. Everything you have done and reported suggests is should work, but I cannot tell you why it isn't or how to correct it. I can suggest an alternate PDF reader, like FoxIt, but that doesn't really address your issue so much as bypass it. If you would like the input of other Experts, I would suggest asking a Moderator to send out a request.

Good to know the resolution. I never would have even thought of looking at language settings. I would suggest we accept http:#27924920 as the solution and give a refund.
