DFS-R on SBS 2008
Hi,
I've been looking on the Internet and can't find a definitive answer.
Can you have DFS-R on SBS 2008?
I would like to have replication across 2 servers, on the same domain, one using sbs 2008 and the other using WServer 2008.
The idea being if the SBS goes down then i can rebuild a new SBServer and then have the replicated data from WServer 2008 go back across.
Or do i need a second SBS 2008 Enterprise edition as a second DC to have this work properly?

Thanks,
so just to confirm i can replicate from SBS 2008 to a WServer 2008 machine?
And if the SBS 2008 machine dies, and i rebuild a new one, i can re-replicate the data back across?

Does Windows Small Business Server 2008 support Distributed File System (DFS) for data replication?
DFS is built into Windows Server 2008 and is available in Windows Small Business Server 2008. If you want to use DFS you must use the technology-specific tools in Windows Server 2008 as there are no tools for configuring or managing DFS in the Administration Console.
