Cisco ASA static nat (inside,outside) VS (outside,inside)

What's the difference between...

static (inside,outside)
and...
static (outside,inside)

The first is what's always used in examples is bidirectional so why the need for the other?  Or are they just six in one hand, half dozen in the other?

If they are differen't then please provide an example of where "static (outside,inside)" would be used.
