Cannot see workstations in "my network neighborhood", I can see Servers fine.

I have a customer that on their network they cannot see workstations in "my network neighborhood". They can ping, remote desktop and manage the workstations through Active Directory. But for some reason I cannot push any update from my distribution server to the clients nor see them in network neighborhood. I can see member servers just fine. Anyone have any idea why this might be? Thanks in advance.

I am going to ask the customer tomorrow if he can access the computers thru //computer name. I see what you are getting at you believe it is a wins/netbios thing right
What version of Windows are the client machines and the server?
Install Wins on the server, add server IP to the Wins tab on the clients.
