HP t5135 Thin client won't boot past "HP" screen. Unable to reimage, as well.

I have an HP t5135 thin client that will no longer boot past the initial HP splash screen (see attachment t5135_1.zip).  It will just stay at this screen and go no further. The only other thing that occurs is the text "INIT: version 2.86 bootlog" flashes very briefly.

Also, the attachment t5135_2.zip)shows what happens when i try to reimage using a USB drive.

specs:
HP
t5135

Any suggestions on what to do?

Sounds like the HDD may be done. I know a lot of HP machines will not get past the BIOS loading screen if the Hard drive has been damaged. Have you tried pulling the drive and testing it on another machine?

Oye.  I wasn't aware that these clients had an HDD.  I figured they're were all flash / firmware.

But I will try to open up the box and see what I can find.  I never pass up a chance to disassemble something...

Is it using the correct power supply, we have had this before when not using the correct power supply.

I believe so, jadecom. I wouldn't have any other to use than the ps that was shipped with the unit. And I had tried 2 different ones.
This is WAY old, I know. Felt compelled to type an answer anyway.

Usually when this happens with ours, re-imaging using a captured image from another T5135 does the trick. Sometimes you have to redo the whole thing with a factory image from HP, though. I'm currently on the hunt for the link to download this as it appears HP removed it from their site.
