What is a good CD burner, DVD burner, ISO image creater software

What is a good CD burner software, DVD burner software, ISO image creater software.
Free is preferred, but useability is the most important feature.
I just want one that works and is easy to learn.

Depending on what OS you use you can use:
Windows: CDBurnerXP (cd/dvd burning), DoISO (for creating ISO images)
Linux: K3B, Brasero (both cd/dvd burning)
These are all free and work for cds and dvds. In linux you can create an iso using a commandline without having to install anything else by default.

I've been using Nero for years and it has never let me down. It's not free, but it's not terribly expensive, either.

Actually, I had missed your suggestion of CDBurnerXP as well, apologies... I would hit the Request Attention link at the top to bring the mods' attention here to make a correction......
