I have an Ubuntu box and I am trying to install some software that's only really supported on Red Hat & SUSE 10. It seems from prior posts that SUSE is a better option for me, but I'm wondering what the migration path from ububtu to SUSE is like.
Will I be able to keep most of the programs I've installed? will my user/password settings be carried over?
