Any out of the ordinary about this picture? Huge and high resolution? Does it contain placed picture in it?

What if you copy the content of the Illustrator file and paste it into a fresh Photoshop file? You would get very similar results.

I do not understand why Adobe cannot fix their issues, everthing seems to revolve around deleting the pref files.
I often have had issues exporting AI to jpg when the files are big or resolution high. However exporting directly as Photoshop file, Export > Photoshop PSD is usually great, besides you can export layers and live text.

Yes, it's tiresome to tell people all the time to trash the prefs. Makes me think one should simply automate that process to trash it on a regular basis.
I am testing deleting it via vbs login script file as we speak.
At least on the mac you can hold down the Alt key when Illustrator and InDesign are starting up to renew the prefs.

Actually I never do that.
I would be nice to know what the issue was.
Still do not know. Adobe says pref file got corrupted. Seems to be their answer to everything. Do not recall this happening in the older versions.
Ok. Thanks and good luck in the future.
Thanks, if they do come back with more info, or a better idea of what caused that i will post it.
