outbound emails rejected by 2 companies
We have an Exchange 2007 Server having issues sending outbound to 2 companies. Our server passes email to a Barracuda 300 through a smarthost, which scans for content and virus. We are clean on mxtoolbox, SPF record in place RDNS in place, etc.
The rejection emails have a vague 554 error. they are at large companies, so it is difficlult to get to a person who can whitelist us or discuss the issue. The NDRs don't specify any particular problem. Here is a cleaned bounce back:

Thanks - will see what my server makes of it and come back to you shortly. It will get greylisted initially.

thanks for your quick response and help. Sometimes you just need another person to confirm what you are thinking.
No problems - sorry it is not a more exciting answer, but sometimes, that's just the way it is.
Appreciate the points and good luck resolving it. If you need to come back for further help - please do.

I believe the companies rejecting us use Mcafee products and we are on a proprietary Mcafee black list.
Nice - how did you manage to work that one out?

If you want to send me a test message to alan @ it-eye.co.uk my spam software will reject you if you are not setup properly in any way. If it gets through, then you are either being filtered by content or by IP incorrectly.
