logitech USB webcam freezing remote desktop connection
I have a Windows remote desktop connection to my home PC from my office connecting via IP.
All settings are for performance and the remote desktop works reasonable fast until I activate the Logitech Webcam. As soon as that starts the connection seems to get overloaded. The desktop icons refresh one at a time slowly and it takes minutes to make a simple click operation. After many minutes of toil I shut down the webcam process and it all speeds up again.
Is there any known issue with webcams and/or does anyone have any reasons or solutions to this issue?

I think you'll find this is an issue with any high quality video being sent over RDP. I have this same problem with my camera feeds at home. I also have this issue whenever a flash movie runs on a website and uses too many frames; it tends to dominate the connection. Try watching a movie, and you'll likely see similar results.
