Even though the fibre switch and storage enclosure are 2GB, I believe that an installed 4GB fibre adaptor in the computer will auto negotiate down to 2GB, right?

Hmmmm...the 4100 spec sheet shows support for old PCI-X cards.   Does this mean that PCI-E cards will not work?

Thank you.  I purchased a 4GB fibre card.  As you stated, it'll auto negotiate to 2GB.
