Excel function that will return the number of rows in a merged cell
I have a merged cell that I reference using OFFSET. The merged cell spans multiple rows. The number of rows it spans is variable depending on the application.
Example in attached file. I need to sum the values in column H based on the rows included in each time period defined by the corresponding merged cell in column A.
Is there a built in EXCEL function that will return the number of rows a merged cell spans?
