Error while setting up HP Management agent. Unable to open the event notification service. Access is denied.

Hello,
I'm trying to run the Event Notifier Configuration wizard under the HP Management agent on my SBS 2008 server and after I've entered all the email info, and clicked finish, it returns the following:
"Unable to open the event notification service. Access is denied."
I tried logged on with two separate Domain admin accounts and got the same error. I checked the service and it was disabled. I was able to enable it OK and still go the same error. I also tried changing the services "logon as" setting to match the admin account I was running it from. Why don't I have access?

Turns out it requires a local administrator to complete the wizard, which was wierd because it's a domain controller. The administrator account is disabled by default, and it doesn't really show up as a local account, it shows as a domain account. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Why wouldn't a domain admin have this access?
I will test pulling a redundant power supply this weekend to make sure notification works.
I have a 2008 domain controller that has the same issue.  The Proliant Support Pack is updated as of last night.  I still get the same error as there is no local admin account (if in fact that is the problem).  All my other servers that are not DC's work just fine, which is why I believe the whole DC issue is the problem.  Any ideas?
I had this problem on two Windows 2008 DC's, i did try updating the support pack but this didn't work, however, I was able to finally get the event notifier config to work by right-click it and selecting "run as administrator"
Run as administrator works well for me too on an sbs 2011
