Last Modified: 2012-05-09
Hii All Experts,
 i have wss 3.0 and i made so many custom item event receiver for sharepoint list. For Example i update ListB from ListA.
i update 20 columns . and i used Try And Catch for exception. But i am not able to see log file or exception. i need to know
Exception by log file or by message. i wrote
 System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine("ProjTemp1ToProjectList.ItemUpdated() exception" + ex.ToString());
But i dont know how to check exception, i just want to make sure that all column has updated.

Is it possible to generate log file by Item Event receiver?? And i use Datasheet view os is it possible to display any error message
in screen or in pop up window??

System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine("ProjTemp1ToProjectList.ItemUpdated() exception" + ex.ToString());
