Pretty straight forward. I want a batch file a user can double click. The batch file pops up and says something like.
What is your name?
The user inputs their name and hits enter.
Then that name goes to some random text file(ex - C:\usersname.txt)

This isn't meant to be a running text file with a list of names or whatever. Preferablly Just that one name like
John Smith.
It may be necessary that at the beginning of the batch file the C:\usersname.txt is deleted if it exists, and then recreated as an empty txt file. Who knows?
Know third party apps please. It would actually be nice to get one version in vbscript and one in just straight down and dirty dos.
