Can't remove corrupt outlook profile - even with reinstall
Hi,
I tried to set up an exchange profile in Outlook 2007. It keeps saying it cannot connect to the exchange server - even though the settings are definitely correct (verified by using identical settings on another machine)
One sugestion is to uninstall/reinstall outlook.
When I uninstall/reinstall the Office 2007 suite, and run the "Mail" app in Control Panel - the original mail profiles are still listed!
I uninstalled Outlook again, and delted all files in:
c:\Dcouments and Settings\user.name\Applica tion Data\Microsoft\Outlook
and
c:\Dcouments and Settings\user.name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
and then reinstalled. The same profile settings could STILL be seen in Control Panel -> Mail.
How do I perform a COMPLETELY CLEAN reinstall of Outlook please?
Thanks!

Do you have the same issue if logged in as someone else? if not, remove the entire user profile instead.
Did you try to remove the profile from Control panel>Mail?
Do that and delete all accounts and data files, and then restart Outlook.
