Citrix issue

Users logging on to a server outside our network are unable to launch apps from the xen desktop as they get the following error -

Cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server.
There is no Citrix XenApp server configured on the specified address.

We can lauch the applications fine in our domain but other users on different networks are unable to launch the application once logged on to the citrix desk top.
We have recently added new licenses to enable more users to connect to citrix on the specific server and we have also made sure that there are no terminal server license issue.

Many Thanks

Hi,

No the citrix server is runing xenapp fundamentals version 4, so a basic citrix running on server 2008.  TS is licensed up using user cals not devlice calls.  The server is natted behind a firewall on a private network.  https and http protocols are allowed through the firewall.

Another citrix box is on the same network, running server 2003, again this is running basic citrix access essentials.  Both servers have ts license servioce installed (dont know if this is the problem! could be)

Our office network uses a vpn tunnel to the hosting environment where the citrix boxes are, so we dont go via nat.  Seems that an issue is occuring issuing a ts cal license from the terminal service part.

Hope that give a little more info, but thanks for the response so far.

PS I have TS licensing setup to look at itself for licenses, so not on auto discovery.

After checking Terminal server logs within Event viewer on the server the following message was found - The Terminal Server cannot issue a client license. It was unable to issue the license due to a changed (mismatched) client license, insufficient memory, or an internal error. Further details for this problem may have been reported at the client's computer.

Also within the application log - The SMA Service encountered an unexpected problem when trying to notify IMA of changes. This may indicate a problem with IMA's COM registration. Error code 0x800706BA

Thanks for all of your help, the problem in the end was with the SSL certificate, specifically the GoDaddy cert.  Replaced with a verisign cert and everything is working ok.

Thanks for your help on this, I would like to award you all some points for the effort
