This is more of an informational request. &nbsp;I recently purchased a new laptop as my old one is damaged. &nbsp;The OS is the new Windows 7. &nbsp;It's pretty cool but I'm still getting use to the interface. &nbsp;My Office 2003 installed fine on this system. How can I tell if an older application is compatible with a newer OS before trying to install it. &nbsp;I would like to install my Adobe Acrobat 7 as well as other applications on this laptop but I can't find a site that provides compatibility information. &nbsp;Can you help me?<br />

This is more of an informational request.  I recently purchased a new laptop as my old one is damaged.  The OS is the new Windows 7.  It's pretty cool but I'm still getting use to the interface.  My Office 2003 installed fine on this system. How can I tell if an older application is compatible with a newer OS before trying to install it.  I would like to install my Adobe Acrobat 7 as well as other applications on this laptop but I can't find a site that provides compatibility information.  Can you help me?



Application vs Operating System Compatibility

Microsoft applications include a variety of software programs, including development and digital authoring programs (Expression and Media Center), educational programs, Internet software, including Essentials, Skype and the Live family, anti-virus, productivity applications and suites like Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint, video games and server applications such as Exchange, SharePoint, IIS and Virtual Server.
