MPLS
I currently support a company with 5 offices which have 5 client computers at each.
They run some software which replicates any changes every 10 minutes and this is done over VPN tunnels using Draytek routers between each office using an adsl connection however it is slow especially when people try to browse the net and send emals etc.
Somebody mentioned using MPLS which I have breifly covered when I was studying my CCNP but it din't go into great detail.
Could somebody tell me the basic principle of how it works as oppose to an ordinary adsl line and the advantages of using it. As i said earlier they are using Draytek routers as VPN end points, would these need to be replaced?
When I was studying my CCNP ONT exam it covered QoS and I read that MPLS has a function to enable you to assign priorities to various types of traffic.
Any help or advise would be much appreciated.
