I have a few questions regarding TLS. I've been doing research for a couple days but I want to make sure I have it right. Also, if anyone is using Postini and TLS it would be a great help.

First TLS. From what i gather its an all or nothing encryption unless you create separate outbound SMTP connectors for specific domains you want to send mail to? For inbound is this also true? I also need to get a cert, which i am guessing would be the same process as getting an SSL for port 443?

Second Postini. From what Postini tells me is that I can send all emails to them via TLS and then they can determine if the recipeint server aceepts it in TLS. If they don't it will be sent via regular SMTP. Same for incoming to me. If someone sent me a TLS but i couldn't accept it they would send it to me via SMTP.

My plan is to do this:
Get a cert for my Virtual SMTP on my front end server, go into the properties and select TLS. does this automaically add it for incoming and outgoing? I also have in my routing groups a connector for SMTP where i pretty much have it default but list my Front end server as the local bridgehead.
