Starting services smb, winbind, squid upon startup RHEL 5
I'm usually pretty savy with linux, but this one has beaten me so far.
Usually I would add a service such as Windbind, Squid or SMB using the command
chkconfig squid on
Far simple and the service starts up when the linux box boots. Not this time. Any service I add isnt starting up as usual.
I've checked the services with ntsysv and they are checked to begin but no luck.
Im using RHEL 5. Any ideas?

They were starting correcting but taking a few mins to start up. I was being a little impatient.
Thanks.
