tru64 nfs mount problem on solaris client

I have a tru64 nfs server and solaris8 clients.  On bootup the clients mount the wrong directory.  I am able to mount the directory by hand correctly but on bootup it always reverts back to the incorrect mount point.

I tried to remove the workstation entries from /etc/mountdtab on the nfs servers and restarted nfs server on both and that did not fix the problem.

Is there a file on the solaris client side that tells the system to reconnect to old nfs mounts?
