How do I enable Windows 2008R2 Domain Member Internet Access

We have a brand new 2008R2 Enterprise server joined to a existing domain.  I understand that network location awareness has assigned the Domain location type to the box and has isolated the box from Internet access.  How do we get around this?  We’d like internet access on the box for a number of reasons.  We’ve tried turning off the 2008R2 firewall and we’ve tried enabling all traffic, nothing worked. Our other 2008 (not R2) in the same domain works fine.
