What is your opinon about PandoraFMS?
That's a new one i still have to check out, but it looks promissing.
I downloaded it a few days ago. Now it's waiting for some time to invest in it.
So I don't have an opinion yet.

I haven't heard and use it. So i also can't give any opinion about it.
I had worked on Zabbix and Nagios. Both are good, but zabbix is easy to setup and nagios mostly uses scripts and requires cacti for GUI. Both support heterogeneous environment.

I installed the VMware/ISO version of PandoraFMS. (opensource).
Everything is web managed.
I have just added a few small tests and it runs immediatly.
From the documentation it can use WMI as well as nagios objects etc.
So i'll let Virtual Machine run for a while to see what it reports/sees etc.
And experiment with it in general. Definitly worth a look.
