Hi,
I use to manage a ESX 3.5 u2 host HP DL380G5 (stand alone)
I encounter a connection problem with VI client. The message Error when connecting is :
vmware infrastructure client could not establish the initial connection with server
   Details A connection failure occured.
The Putty connection is working so I try to solve it following this link :
http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1003561
but nothing works.
I have tried to restart the network service but it doesn't work anymore.
Every time the problem occurs, I have to restart the esx and everything comes back to normal for 10 or 20 days.
I have checked disk usage :
[root@ESX01-VMkernel root]# df -h

/dev/cciss/c0d0p2     4.9G  3.5G  1.1G  77% /

I would like to upgrade to u5 or vSphere but we would like to be sure it will solve the problem.
I have not found anything on the web.

Any comment ?

Thanks

Vincent
