We're using Mail for Exchange on a mix of Nokia E71 and E72 phones to access Exchange mailboxes on an SBS 2003 machine.
Due to failing hardware on our original server, we've recently peformed a Swing migration to a new machine - which may or may not be related.
But it appears that since the migration, our phones no longer pickup email UNLESS the user has either Outlook or OWA open.
This came to light over the weekend when a customer emailed me with an urgent request, then phoned a number of hours later to complain he'd not received a response. I checked my phone - but no emails there. Assumed it was a problem with his email.
But then opened Outlook and immediately his and a number of other emails came through to my phone. I've been watching it closely since then and the phone definitely does not pick up any mail unless Outlook or OWA is open.
Any idea what's going on here?
