Print request leaves user computer with diffrent username

Hi Guys

We have recently installed Fuji Xerox printers. We have 2 user where when they try to print (users login as themselves) and print request goes out as different user. I can see in a print queue that jobs are not sent by real user but another user. It appears that print queue thinks that print request is not from the user who really sent the request instead other user. I checked AD and ADSI but I cannot see the the reference to the other user. We are using follow me a equitrac softwaer utility and follow me will not release the request as it thinks that job is not from the real user.

Please advise if you have any idea about it?

Hi,

Have these 2 users ever worked ok with the Equitrac? Can you remove and re-add the users that are not printing correctly? Can you run the SQL query on the eqcas database for the users that are not working and for the user whose name appears when these 2 users print?

select * from  cas_user_ext where email = 'notworkuseremailaddress@yourdomain.com'

select * from  cas_user_ext where email = 'emailaddressofuserwhoappears@yourdomain.com'

You could also just browse and use: -

select * from  cas_user_ext order by fullname

No these users have nvr able to work with equitrac. I can try to remove and add them again. I will run query and let you know

please check print spooler running with which account

found out the issue, user had administrator creditionals for printing which was saved unders stored username and passwords options. deleted that and it started to work. thanks for your time guys
