how to disable title bar of MDI child window (using C#)

new to visual studio/c#, but have great deal of experience with OOP, C++, et al.  the applicaiton i'm starting has a tool bar with no menu bar and is an MDI app. the problem i'm having is that when i open up an MDI child maximized, the title bar (above the parent toolbar) has the usual minimize, maximize, close icons on the right as well as the application icon on the left. i was wondering how to adjust the settings to remove this so that the parent toolbar is always flush with the top of the applciation.
