Date in Crystal Reports

I have a date in Crystal that is like 1/1/2010 , but I need to display only the two digit year like 1/1/10.
or 11/30/2009 need to display 11/30/09.  Need to us this as a parameter field also.

If it really a date field then right click it and choose FORMAT FIELD
You should see a list of applicable formats for date fields.  Choose the one you want or you can choose customize to set one up.

Where do you want the parameter format set?  If you mean in the prompt, then you can use the calendar but you can't change the format.

For Special Field,
Right click the Print date field then select  the Format Field and choose your date format(01/01/99).

For parameter field,
create a new new parameter filed select Type as "Date" and drag the parameter filed on the report then right click the Parameter filed then select the  Format Field and choose your date format(01/11/99).

I did change the check field to be custom MM/DD/YY and then the parameter I did the same way.  However when I click on refresh and bring up the data parameters, it still show this yyyy-dd-mm.

See attachment
As I stated you can change the format displayed on the report but you have no control over the parameter prompting screen.  If you require that you will have to have an application that prompts for the parameters and provide the values to the report.
