I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi

There can be two major issues hardware based and software based

in hardware based issue it occurs when there is an raid drive is failing

software based possiblities are many

check if there is any disk quota enabled

check if there any spyware/malware installed scan with this system with maclware bytes or combofix if possible in safe mode

also check another possibilities over this problem with solution
