how can i uninstall landesk in my desktop computer?
hello:
can anyone tell me how to uninstall the landesk agent in my win xp computer in my office?
since the landesk has been installed a month ago, the harddisk was spinning non stop and slowed down all programs running in my computer. i constantly saw hour glass when i ran or switched between applications. the computer fan can easy be kicked off too. i really have no clue what was being performing at the background as i couldn't find any suspicious thing showing in the process. most of them are program that i normally run in my computer. how can i uninstall as well as block the landesk agent to deploy again into my computer?

Keep in mind, if you are in a managed environment, you wont be able to stop LANDesk from installing to your machine. You need to get to the root cause of the problem, so you you can get your updates/deployments properly....
If landesk is a service that is running in the background. you can go into control panel, administrative tools, services and select the agent and stop it. Select it and click on Stop.
Also go into the system configuration utility and startup tab and uncheck it from running.
(at the RUN command prompt type MSCONFIG.
