Installation on Citrix XenApp 5

description of the server environment:
Windows server standard 2008 32B SP2 Citrix Streaming Profiler Ver: Citrix Farm XenApp 5.0

I am trying to install a program on citrix xenapp 5. The program have a 2 layer architecture, and the client consist of some registry settings, a odbc connection and a shortcut to the exe file on the server.

The problem here is that to install the program on xenapp, i have to create a installation package where i have to add a exe file. The system is set up to run each program in a "nutshell" with their own registry and so on. Can anyone explain to me how to install this type of software on the citrix client ?

There are probably a few ways to do this.  Here are two:

1:  Install the app as a normal TS/Citrix app.  start > run > chage user /install > install app > change user /execute

2:  Create a batch file that runs the app and publish the batch file.

The soultion was to install with the server exe files.
