Start > Run > "Winver" will tell you everything you need to know.

If t says R2 it's R2

There is no such thing as SBS 2008 R2, and probably will not be.  R2 is only available for non SBS O/S's

As RobWill said, there is no such product called "SBS 2008 R2"
(for the SmallBusinessServer 2008 there is a Servicepack 2, but not a seperate version R2)

If you have software that needs the R2-Version of the normal Windows Server 2008 R2 (not SBS), you could possible move this applications to another Server with normal Windows Server 2008 R2

(you do not need to buy additional CALs for this server, you will only need hardware + server-software   - or only server-license if you run SBS and normal WinServer 2008 R2 as virtual Instances on WinServer2008 R2/hyperV-Server 2008 on the same hardware)

If you have SmallBusinessServer 2008 PREMIUM, you allready have a license for a second server with the normal Win Server 2008 (and also Win Server 2008 R2! - see http://www.microsoft.com/sbs/en/us/compare-features.aspx / Footnote 4)
