DB2 One Master two replicas

Does anyone know how to configure DB2 for high availability locally and remotely?  I need to set up DB2 with 2 servers locally for HA (using HADR) and have a remote DR server fully synched (assuming adequate distance and bandwidth for synchronous replication between the two sites).  Can DB2 have two slaves to one master using HADR?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi ganglegreen,

You can certainly configure your databases that way.

The link above is an overview of DB2 high availability.

You might look into the local servers being configures for "multiple copy" availability and the remove server for "failover" availability.

Good Luck,
Kent
