MapPoint Office Add-in is not a valid office add-in

Microsoft MapPoint 2009 was installed on our terminal server and now users are getting an error message anytime they launch an Office 2007 product

"MapPoint Office Add-in is not a valid office add-in"

I've tried going into the programs and looking at the add-in's but the only one I see related to MapPoint is a smart tag that is not in use

Is there somewhere else the office add-ins are stored and this can be disabled?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
