user not receiving internal emails
Hi, for some reason one of the users in this organisation cannot receive internal email - error message - A non-delivery report with a status code of 5.4.6 was generated for recipient rfc822;mohsin@heenafashion s.co.uk (Message-ID <D8DF4EA4127BBC459AD86814B D4B7D6C12B 744@server .HeenaFash ions.local >).
Cause: A forward loop was detected by the categorizer. This is a common hosting configuration problem caused when someone uses the provisioning tool to create a contact in one organization unit and creates a user in a different organization user that share the same e-mail address.
Solution: Verify that you do not have a user in organizational unit and a contact in a different organizational unit that have the same e-mail address.
I am not sure where to look to get this sorted out.
Any ideas?
Apparently, Jouranl was setup for this user but I can't see how to disable it to see if that is the problem
Thanks
Chris

Hi, yes Journal for this user was set up so that one user could see incoming and outgoing emails.
Ok I will try that
The Journal I have removed the user now and thought I had disabled it becasue when it was set up, then the user had stopped receiving emails all together.

Hi, when you say similar email addresses do you mean the same or may vary slighlty?
The error that you got is from the same exact email address. if even there is a small change in either of the two email addresses then this error wouldnt have occured.
Hence it is the same exact email address in two different I.D's altogether that is causing the problem.

In the name box type in the user name in question and you should be getting a list of user i.d's matching. Double click on each of the "most possible" user I.D's and in the popup you should be able to see the email address. If two different user I.D's have the same email address, then you know what to do next.
Alternatively, in the Name box type in email address that is causing the conflict and you should be getting a set of user I.D's
Did you say you set up Journal for this user?
Praveen.
