The domain localhost.a1telecoms.co.za cannot be forund in the DNS.
Maybe your /etc/hosts entry for 127.0.0.1 only contains localpart (eg localhost)
when it might be better if it were localhost.localdomain

since there is no . in the hostname it appends the myhostname domain and that is not found in the dns either.

see example /etc/hosts

You may want to add any other interfaces you have to that file too.

127.0.0.1       localhost.localdomain localhost
::1             localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6

Ps: you need to rebuild your virtual alias file.  but that's not part of this question.
