Visual Studio 2008 DataGridView Properties

I have created a form with a datagridview and I want to prevent the user from expanding the width of the columns and the height of the rows. Is there a property that would allow me to prevent this behavior. I also would like to be able to copy the value from the cell on the datagridview, is there a property that controls that. Right now I am not allowed to mark any cell in the datagridview so I could copy and paste it.

HI rwheeler23,

I dont think there is a option to expand the width and height of the GridView... To make the Gridview columns width fixed , set the itemstyle property to a fixed width....

>>> I also would like to be able to copy the value from the cell on the datagridview, is there a property that controls that

No there is no property that controls it....

and also i dont understand what u mean by marking the cell

What I mean by marking the cell is, if you look at this screenshot and I hover over the cell in the agency column, there is no way I can mark the value so I can cut and paste it back to the host screen.
is that a gridcontrol? if so, is it possible to add TextBoxControl

It is a datagridview
U can add the column as a DataGridViewTextBoxColumn...
