Upgrading ASDM Manager Removes Link to ASDM
OS: Windows 7 x64
I'm attempting to upgrade my ASDM Manager from 602 to 621 (as the neweset ASA with IOS 822 installed requires the upgrade); after I upgrade, ASDM Manager launches but after I close it I cannot seem to restart it. I notice that the icon in the taskbar switches from the normal ASDM Manager icon to a java icon after the upgrade. When I view the Cisco/ASDM directory in Program Files (x86) I notice that the launcher.exe is no longer present.
If I reinstall 602, everything returns to normal and I can find the launcher.exe and launch ASDM Manager, but upon the upgrade, it goes back to as stated.
I have this one ASA that is using IOS 822, so I'd like to get the upgrade to work; if all else fails I can always downgrade the ASA version.

Possibly it was because I didn't uninstall the old version before upgrading. I just put on a different IOS image (804) that worked with the current ASDM I have installed locally.
