Can changing Windows server 2008 SID affect the Http server?

Mcafee complains of our cloned http server and the solution is to change to servers SID. I have been trying to find information if this can affect the application http server 7. I have read that databases dont like the change. But what about IBM software?

No, Changing the SID won't effect HTTP or any applications...

http://www.brajkovic.info/windows-server-2008/windows-server-2008-r2/how-to-change-sid-on-windows-7-and-windows-server-2008-r2-using-sysprep/

Though to be absolutely safe, create a full system backup before changing the SID.  In this way, you can restore everything back ...just in case
