How to load Sybase ASE 12.5.3 dumps into SQL Server 2005
Is this possible? How would one go about it?
Importation of Data into SQL can also be done using SSIS where you write an SSIS job.
For SQL 2005, importation of data using Import/Export wizard is pretty quick and easy.
In SQL server Management Studio (SSMS), launch the Import/Export wizard by right-clicking on the database where you want to import data and the follow the wizard's steps.
Remember to specify the source file as a flat file, in this case it's your CSV flat file :-)
Good luck.

The second option for you is to use BCP on Sybase to export it into a CSV file, then use MSSQL's BCP to import it into SQL server.
