Dear Team,

Arcserve 12.0 sp2

I am  getting one error from the last few days in the migration job :

E3703 Unable to open media. (MEDIA=, EC=ERROR TAPE NOT FOUND)

There is a single job runs - first staging backup & then migrate the data from one tape to another ..

Staging job is runnig fine , but migration backup fails with the above mentioned error...

Copy in the complete error for the last couple of times.
Ck tape.log for the same point in time.
Are there any other errors or warnings tied to this?
Do you have just the one job?
do you have two libraries?
how long are the backup tapes kept? (the ones in the staging group)
is a different tape used each day or is append used?

Hi dovidmichel,

Apologies for the delay response, but the problem was in one of the tape drive, one of the Media was strucked inside the drive ...that is the only reason migration from one tape to another was not happening.
