Allowing PFC device to email through exchange 2007

I have a Xerox 7228 Printer, Fax, Copier and since upgrading from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 I have lost the ability to email scans from this device. I have tried adding another connector in exchange 2007 with the units IP address in but I still get a failure page printing out of the Machine every time I try saying "Invalid Sender Address". It will however allow me to lookup in the exchange servers address list, allowing me to select from the list of receipients.

You need to setup a receive connector on the hub server.  Under the Network tab "Receive from remote servers that have these IP addresses" specify the IP address of the copier to allow relaying.

Create a new receive connector:
Server Configuration
   Hub Transport
      New Receive Connector
Give the connector a name, select internal once the connector is setup go to the properties of the connector and add the IP addess as stated above.

How are your permissions set on the connector.  Make sure Anonymous Uses is checked.
