Cast Integer - is auto rounding, ex. 1234.00

The below calc field is giving me .00 and I want to see the number.  Here is my expression

result is 12345.00, I would like to see the value for .00.

How would I fix this expression?  Thanks

I'm not a Cognos person but typically INTEGERS don't have decimal places.

Try: cast(([field1]-[field2]),DECIMAL)

Maybe FLOAT?

Leave it open for a while.  Maybe a Cognos Expert will have the answer.

Is this in Report Studio? if yes, there is "Data Format" Proerties, click "Data Format", Change "Format Type "to "Number", Change "No. of Decimal Places" to "0"
