We're opening a new remote office, and I'd like to use DFS to replicate a data folder. The folder is around 60GB of data, and to replicate over a VPN would take forever. So I'm sending them a drive with the data on it to copy over. Now my dilemma is, I've been trying to do some tests setting up the DFS to see if it would re-copy, or over write the data, instead of merging it. I've been unsuccessful. I've tried setting the BurFlags command in the registry using the article found here and here, and that's been unsuccessful for me as well. I'd appreciate any advice, thank you.
