Making missing Add-In Manager & COM Add-Ins buttons visible in Outlook 2003

When accessing Tools, Options, Other, Advanced Options - the buttons for Add-In Manager and COM Add-ins are not visible - why would they be missing and how can I make them visible again?

Thank you!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try going to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office and removing your Outlook keys. You will have to rebuild the settings following reboot, when starting outlook back up, but will keep your profile. Another way is to run the 'Detect and Repair'  under Help in Outlook. Select to "Discard customized settings..... Be prepared to provide the Office CD.
