Hi,
Is it possible to have a specific configuration for some users only? What I would like to do is have some of the users have access to everything and some others have restricted access based. More particularely I would like to be able to block some websites for some users.
Thx

Yes, that should be possible, but I believe you need fixed ip addresses and the group of users you wish to block, those ip addresses should grouped together (e.g. 192.168.10.110 to 192.168.10.150). Then you can create the CFS-filter and enable the CFS exclusion list for all the other users to allow access to all sites..

I do that already.
the problem is that everyone needs to have some website blocked but some others need to have more website blocked.

The only, I believe, to accomplish that is to use multiple zones. Maybe you can ask sonicwall support.

ok managed to sort myself out !
in my situation, it is fairly simple with the OS version 5.2 and above (I was before using os 5.0).
With the new 5.2 you can now have CFS Policy per IP Address Range. I then removed the forbidden domains on the default policy (as there were none in fact) and added it to the policy for those specific ips.
