ColdFusion does not recognize new MSSQL table column

Hello.  When we add a new column into our SQL tables and run a select, insert, etc. query, ColdFusion does not recognize the newly added column and gives us an error saying the column does not exist.  Is there a setting in the administrator we need to turn on or off?  We tried caching the query at 0 seconds and changing the application name, which didn't work.  We are using ColdFusion 9 and MSSQL Server 2008.  Thanks!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If it's cached, you can change the query for a quick test by adding something meaningless like

  "AND 1=1"

 to the where clause

Restarting the service will also work

or just waiting X number of minutes...
